Summer 2016 will see us revisit one of Shakespeare's most popular and best known love stories, Romeo and Juliet. This tragic tale of forbidden love set against the violence of warring families is by far one of             Shakespeare's most popular stories.

A violent street brawl between rival families the Montague’s and Capulet’s is the prelude to Romeo’s first encounter with Juliet. Despite this, and the fact that Juliet has been promised to another man in marriage,       they fall in love. But any plans for their future happiness are cruelly destroyed by renewed violence between the two families. With its wonderful combination of lyricism, comedy, suspense and drama,                       Shakespeare’s heartbreaking tale is one of the greatest of all love stories.
